This is a mob series that is the anti-Sopranos. Funny since Stevie Van Zandt acted in both series.  In the Sopranos he had a supporting role in this one he is the big kahuna. The premise is a mobster who has to go into witness protection asks to be relocated to Lillehammer, Norway because he remembers liking a television spot he saw of it during the winter Olympics that took place there. The New York City mob boss is a little out of his element in the relatively small town of Lillehammer. He is not the only one a little confused as the residents of the town really don’t know what to think of Frank either. Soon enough though the fish out of water is trying his hand at controlling the crime scene in Lillehammer with law enforcement there beginning to wonder about his involvement.
