Doctor Who: The Complete Sixth Series – Blu-ray Edition

In the UK there are not many if any television series that are bigger than Doctor Who. Each season and every single episode is dissected and agonized over. We are now on the eleventh incarnation of the Doctor (played by Matt Smith). There are still plenty of adventures to be had involving time and space.

Episode 1: The Impossible Astronaut – Part 1: The Doctor and his friends find themselves in the desert of Utah and then on to the White House in 1969. They have to help President Nixon (played by Stuart Milligan) deal with a telephone from a little girl who is afraid of a monster.

Episode 2: The Day of the Moon – Part 2: Doctor Who finds himself locked in the perfect prison. He somehow has to begin a revolution to drive back the enemy and rescue a young girl.

Episode 3: The Curse of the Black Spot: After answering a distress signal Doctor Who is transported onto a 17th century pirate ship. The ship and its crew is being tormented by The Siren, a sea creature.

Episode 4: The Doctor’s Wife: The Doctor gets a distress signal from an old friend. He transports to a junkyard planet in a bubble universe.

Episode 5: The Rebel Flesh – Part 1: Arriving on Earth in the future TARDIS finds a world in which dopplegangers are being used for manual labour. A solar tsunami ends up freeing the “Gangers” and a decision has to be made who to eliminate.

Episode 6: The Almost People – Part 2: Some Gangers seek revenge on their humans. It is up to the Doctor to negotiate a truce.

Episode 7: A Good Man Goes to War – Part 1: Amy (played by Karen Gillan) is kidnapped and put up as bait in a trap. The Doctor goes after those responsible.

Episode 8: Let’s Kill Hitler – Part 2: The TARDIS crashes and they are in Germany in the 1930s. Doctor Who goes up against the biggest war criminal of all time.

Episode 9: Night Terrors: The Doctor receives a distress signal from a little boy named George (played by Jamie Oram). The boy is afraid of the monsters living in his cupboard.

Episode 10: The Girl Who Waited: Amy is trapped at a quarantine facility. Rory (played by Arthur Darvill) has to try and rescue her.

Episode 11: The God Complex: The TARDIS arrives at a very unique hotel. The rooms are ever-changing and each guest is there to face their biggest fear.

Episode 12: Closing Time: Doctor Who is preparing for his death at Lake Silencio. When he meets with his former roommate it leads him on to one last investigation.
