My Chemical Romance is no more. This is something that has made many a fan sad. In 2013 the rock band called it quits and this is their version of a thank you to their fans. Fans will agree that all the favourites from the band over their twelve recording years are mostly all here. Buying this greatest hits package you get “Helena”, “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)”, “Welcome to the Black Parade” and “Teenagers” amongst other memorable tunes. May Death Never Stop You opens with the unreleased track “Fake Your Death” which is a nice treat. Plus you get three demos from the early years “Knives/Sorrows”, “Cubicles” and “Skylines and Turnstiles”. A good overall picture of the band’s contribution to the music world is gleaned from listening to the nineteen tracks on the album. You hear all the drama (in a good way) and theatrical way they present their songs. Obviously what they did connected with people as the band was very popular. You can hear why in the catchiness of the songs. Too bad they could not continue making music.
