In season one Nikita (played by Maggie Q) was plucked off the streets where she was eking out an existence as a small time criminal and proceeds to be trained by a covert government agency to be a trained assassin. She picked up the skills quickly and became one of Division’s best and most deadly agents. When Nikita figures out what Division is really about she decides to go rogue and try and take down the entire operation using a mole she has on the inside.
After only three seasons the network (CW) informed the powers that be behind this series that they were to be canceled. Only giving them six episodes to tie loose ends together seems like too little. Things are definitely rushed but my hat is off to them as they have trimmed all fat making things streamlined and focused.
