One of many visits to the famous jazz festival

Since 1969 this rock trio has been together and making music.  The same three guys for 44 years. That is impressive! Over that span of time they have sold over 50 million albums and continue to gain fans through their live shows.  Hailing from Texas their brand of Southern blues rock has earned them many an admirer over the years.

This concert performance was filmed in 2013 at one of their many appearances at the Montreux festival. Successfully they mine their catalogue to put together a set list that covers all the decades and material from the best loved albums like Afterburner, La Futura, Eliminator and Tres Hombres. A nice touch is their jazz tribute to festival founder Claude Nobs. Though the show is short at a mere 80 minutes it is still worth a watch or purchase as every minute is great.
