Formed in 2002 the band has already been Grammy Award nominated. Their first album contained the hit singles “Over My Head” and “How to Save a Life”. Their career took off when “How to Save a Life” was featured in a second season episode of “Grey’s Anatomy”. Their self-titled second album generated singles like “Never Say Never” and “You Found Me”. In 2013 came their third album called Scars & Stories and contained the singles “Heartbeat” and “Run For Your Life”.  The most recent album was released this year in February.  Helios contains the Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic fame single “Love Don’t Die”.

Because they are a piano-based grouped they have been unfairly compared with the likes of Coldplay and Keane.  Not simply a pop band that issues melancholic power ballads they have had genres like disco, electro pop, alternative rock and even emo creep into their sound over the years.
