once upon a time the complete third seasonAll of us have a fairy tale that we have enjoyed at one point in our lives. A character who we love, hate or fear. Fairy tales have made their mark and that is why they have survived over centuries. It is also why all ages like fairy tales. Feeding off that popularity ABC’s hit series Once Upon a Time brings to us characters from different fairy tales – modern or not so modern. The show which is a modern take on fairy tales involves tension, suspense, vengeance, adventures, action and narrow escapes. Legendary characters like Snow White and Prince Charming exist in the world without people cluing into their true identities. This all happens courtesy of the Evil Queen who has cast a spell over Storyland.

 

Episode 1: The Heart of the Truest Believer: Henry (played by Jared Gilmore) escapes from Peter Pan’s (played by Robbie Kaye) camp with a fellow prisoner. Neal (played by Michael Raymond-James) is helped in his recovery by Mulan (played by Jamie Chung) and Aurora (played by Sarah Bolger).

 

Episode 2: Lost Girl: Peter Pan gives Emma (played by Jennifer Morrison) a map to help locate Henry. The Evil Queen (played by Lana Parrilla) makes Snow White (played by Ginnifer Goodwin) an offer.

 

Episode 3: Quite a Common Fairy: Hook (played by Colin O’Donoghue) wants to find Tinker Bell (played by Rose McIver) in order to locate Peter Pan’s camp. Neal needs Robin Hood (played by Sean Maguire) in order to find Emma.

 

Episode 4: Nasty Habits: Neal is back in Neverland. In fairy tale land Rumpelstiltskin (played by Robert Carlyle) searches for a missing Baelfire.

 

Episode 5: Good Form: Hook makes the effort to save David’s (Josh Dallas) life. The Captain remembers that as a younger man he was sent by the king with his brother to search out a plant with incredible healing powers.

 

Episode 6: Ariel: Regina and Gold team up with the goal of killing Peter Pan. In fairy tale land Snow White meets a mermaid named Ariel (played by JoAnna Garcia).

 

Episode 7: Dark Hollow: Gold and Regina send Ariel to Storybook in order to help Belle (played by Emilie de Ravin) find an artefact. Emma, Neal and Hook try to find Dark Hollow in order to capture Peter Pan’s shadow.

 

Episode 8: Think Lovely Thoughts: Peter Pan is using Henry in order to save magic and Neverland. Emma and others try to get to Henry to stop it from happening.

 

Episode 9: Save Henry: Henry’s life is hanging by a thread. In fairy tale land Regina decides to fill a void in her life by adopting a baby.

 

Episode 10: The New Neverland: Peter Pan has a secret plan that he puts in motion. Snow White and Prince Charming are looking to locate a mythical creature that would help them defeat Regina.

 

Episode 11: Going Home: Inhabitants of Storybrooke attempt to stop Peter Pan from placing another curse on them. Peter Pan has stolen the curse from Regina.

 

Episode 12: New York Serenade: Other than Emma and Henry everyone returns to the Enchanted Forest. Emma and Henry are now in New York City and don’t remember anything about their time in Storybrooke.

 

Episode 13: Witch Hunt: Emma works with Regina to find out who is responsible for the residents of Storybrooke having no memory of the last year. The Wicked Witch (played by Rebecca Mader) has taken over Regina’s castle.

 

Episode 14: The Tower: The hunt for the Wicked Witch goes on. Prince Charming helps Rapunzel (played by Alexandra Metz) face her fears.

 

Episode 15: Quiet Minds: Neal tries to locate his father and also find Henry. In the past Neal, Belle and Lumiere (played by Henri Lubatti) attempt to revive Rumpelstiltskin from the dead.

 

Episode 16: It’s Not Easy Being Green: Zelena challenges Regina to a fight to the death. While in Oz Zelena discovers that she has a younger sister.

 

Episode 17: The Jolly Roger: In Storybrooke Emma agrees to magic lessons from Regina. David and Mary Margaret spend time with Henry.

 

Episode 18: Bleeding Through: Zelena steals Regina’s heart. Belle uncovers Zelena’s plan.

 

Episode 19: A Curious Thing: The Wicked Witch threatens Henry. Rumpelstiltskin refuses to put a curse on Emma.

 

Episode 20: Kansas: Mary Margaret goes into labour. In Oz Glinda (played by Sunny Mabrey) tries to convince her sister to help protect Oz.

 

Episode 21: Snow Drifts: Zelena’s back-up plan kicks in and Emma and Hook are transported to the past. A celebration continues over Snow White’s and Prince Charming’s baby.

 

Episode 22: There’s No Place Like Home: Emma and Hook try to figure out a way back to Storybrooke. The tricky part is they have to do this without changing the future.
