We like to brag (don’t know that is the right world) that the world we live in is a very violent one though if we looked into the past we would have to agree that what we do is just child’s play in comparison. For example, the Vikings lived in a world covered in blood. Every time you turn around someone is getting beaten or their head chopped off. Fighting was a way of life for these people. That being said all that action and violence makes for interesting viewing. The television series Vikings is centered around Norse warrior Ragnar (played by Travis Fimmel) who has risen to the position of leader on the battlefield and off. He soon learns that the price of being a leader is occasionally a heavy one. Besides the threats to his life he also has to make some tough decisions of the personal and warrior type.
