After a thirteen year absence country superstar Garth Brooks is back with an album that reminds fans how good he can be. His ninth album has been led off by the single “People Loving People”. The other thirteen songs are just as good, no matter if they are up tempo or ballads, as the first song. The lyrics can be profound at times while the production values are high and of great support. Strongest tracks include “Cold Like That”, “Midnight Train” and “Mom”. Time has passed so his voice is a little different but the heart of the music he produces remains the same. This is rock country at its purest. With big guitar solos and lots of gospel flairs it plays the game well.
