Films on Art: FIFA 2015

fifa 2015 previewArt and media art. These seem like the perfect subjects for film. The subsequent films seem like the perfect subjects for a film festival. As a resident of Montreal you just have to think about a subject that would be perfect for a film festival et voila it probably already exists. For fans of art and the stories that surround it FIFA is heaven. For the 31st year FIFA will bring to Montrealers the best films on the subject of different art forms produced in the last year.

Art takes on many forms and FIFA attempts to present films that cover that array. This year at FIFA you can watch films about painting, music, dance, theatre, architecture, photography, sculpture, fashion, and literature. A little for every taste. No matter what your interests are you will find something to sink our teeth into.

The aim of the festival is to educate people about art and increase our appreciation of its many mediums. It also affords a rare opportunity to shine the spotlight on art in all its splendor and the people that produce it.
