Parks and Recreation: Season Six

parks and recreation season sixPawnee is the type of town that everyone wants to live in. Or maybe just a majority of people. Okay, so no one wants to live there but a show about the oddball characters that live there and work on city council is da bomb. Pawnee is going through a tough time as they are quite resentful of the merger with Eagleton. Their solution is to blame everything on Councilwoman Leslie Knope (played by Amy Poehler). That plus the out of this world personal lives of the people that work under her makes for a laugh a minute show. Plus they have great guest stars like Henry Winkler, Heidi Klum, Kristen Bell and Sam Elliot.

Episode 1: London, Part 1 + Part 2: After being nominated by April (played by Aubrey Plaza) Leslie wins an award from an International Women in Government organization and she travels to London with Ben (played by Adam Scott), Andy (played by Chris Pratt) and April to get it. Tom (played by Aziz Anzari) tries to figure out who is trying to put Rent-A-Swag out of business.

Episode 2: The Pawnee-Eagleton Tip Off Classic: Leslie, Ben and Chris (played by Rob Lowe) go to Eagleton to discuss the finances with City Councillor Ingrid de Forest (played by Kristen Bell). Ron (played by Nick Offerman) decides he wants to go completely off the grid.

Episode 3: Doppelgänger: Ben and Chris work together and it feels like old times. Ann (played by Rashida Jones) reveals her plans for the future.

Episode 4: Gin It Up: A small thing gets blown out of proportion into a full out scandal so Leslie steps in to fix things. Tom tries his best to impress his latest love interest.

Episode 5: Filibuster: Leslie throws a birthday party for Ben. She ends up missing it due to a late night filibuster.

Episode 6: Recall Vote: Leslie pushes forward to plan Halloween events despite the fact that it is the day of the recall vote. Tom gets Ron to help him save Rent-A-Swag.

Episode 7: Fluorida: Before her last day as city councillor Leslie tries to accomplish all the goals she had when starting out. Chris and Ron bond a little while building cribs for their babies.

Episode 8: The Cones of Dunshire: Ben is unemployed and designs a new game. Ron gets Donna (played by Retta), April and Tom to try and sell his cabin in the woods.

Episode 9: Second Chance: Leslie seems to have accepted the fact that it is her last day in office. She and Ben plan their future.

Episode 10: New Beginnings: Leslie and Ben come up against different challenges at their new jobs. Tom gets ready for a big presentation.

Episode 11: Farmer’s Market: Ann starts venting about her pregnancy with her co-workers. April supports Andy in his new music venture.

Episode 12: Ann and Chris: Leslie throws a huge farewell party for Ann and Chris. Tom, Ben, Ron and Andy try to figure out what the perfect gift for Chris would be.

Episode 13: Anniversaries: Ben tries to surprise Leslie with a huge anniversary gift. Tom and Adam try to help Leslie put a positive spin on the Pawnee-Eagleton merger.

Episode 14: The Wall: Leslie decides to take down the wall separating Pawnee and Eagleton. Tom and Ben try to find some corporate sponsors for the concert.

Episode 15: New Slogan: Leslie wants to come up with a new town slogan. Andy checks out some bands for the concert but is coming up empty.

Episode 16: Galentine’s Day: Leslie tries to find a replacement for Ann. Ron begrudgingly finds he has to babysit Andy.

Episode 17: Prom: Leslie helps to organize Pawnee high school’s prom. April is not thrilled to be going to prom with Andy but he is really excited.

Episode 18: Flu Season 2: It is flu season and only Leslie and Andy are left to book music acts for the Unity Concert. Tom checks out a wine competition in order to get the lead on a sommelier for his new restaurant.

Episode 19: One in 8,000: Leslie and Ben have a charity auction in order to raise funds for the Unity Concert. April decides to manage Andy’s music schedule.

Episode 20: Moving Up, Part 1 and Part 2: Leslie, Ben and Andy travel to San Francisco for a National Parks Conference. Tom opens his new Italian restaurant.
