Mike Rosenberg, better known under his stage name of Passenger, became known to us over the past year. The Brit folk-rock singer has had a huge hit with his song “Let Her Go”. He has translated that into a sold out shows around the globe.
Passenger was a band that released one album and then broke up. Mike Rosenberg continued on and decided to keep the name. He started off first busking on the streets in 2009 and then built up to supporting other acts on tour. Oddly enough he first gained recognition in Australia upon the release of his debut solo album called Wide Eyes Blind Love. His follow-up album in 2010 that featured Australian musicians was called Flight of the Crow.
It was finally with his third album, All the Little Lights, released in 2012 that he gained commercial success. The single “Let Her Go” has hit number one in 16 different countries. His follow up was released in June of 2014 and entitled Whispers. “Heart on Fire” was released as the first single. This year he released Whispers II in which all profits from its sale will go to UNICEF UK.
