Following the huge success of its first edition in the fall of 2014, which attracted more than 5,000 attendees, the Montreal Vegan Festival is back this year with an even more diverse and inspiring line-up! Once again this year, visitors will have the opportunity to discover exciting new products while learning about the health, ethical and ecological aspects of veganism.
The Montreal Vegan Festival is proud to offer bilingual activities that are open to everyone and cater to all tastes: over 50 exhibitors, conferences, thematic workshops, cooking demonstrations, and much more!
As part of this second edition, the Festival will have the pleasure of welcoming, among other guests: web sensation Vegan Black Metal Chef; David Olivier, animal activist since 1988; Marie-Josée Richer, founder of the PRANA company; eco-feminist, activist and co-founder of VINE Sanctuary Pattrice Jones; Véronique St-Pierre, pastry chef at Rose Madeleine; and Renan Larue of the University of California at Santa Barbara, author of Le végétarisme et ses ennemis.
The 21-Day Vegan Challenge will also be back! With more than 1,500 participants in each of its three previous editions, the 21-Day Vegan Challenge, in partnership with Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), has been updated this year and will be even more interactive by way of a new platform. The 21-Day Vegan Challenge is a great way to familiarize yourself with the vegan diet thanks to a comprehensive recipe guide, expert advice, resources, practical tips, and sharing with other participants!
