The zombie apocalypse has occurred and this series deals with the aftermath. A small group of survivors has banded together and now travel in search of security. A voyage across the United States looking for some space out of the reach of the zombies. The group is led by former police officer Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln). As time passes this group becomes more and more desperate and will do anything to remain alive. The interpersonal disputes between members of the group threaten everyone’s survival. Zombies seeking their blood and a rough terrain takes its toll on each and they change much from the people they were before all this.
Episode 1: No Sanctuary: Carol (played by Melissa McBride) takes great risks to save Rick and the rest of the group. She and Tyreese (played by Chad L. Coleman) gain the compound.
Episode 2: Strangers: The group encounters and priest and takes shelter in his church. They also realize they are being hunted.
Episode 3: Four Walls and a Roof: Bob’s (played by Laurence Gilliard Jr.) life hangs by a thread. The group readies itself to take on the hunters of Terminus and Gareth (played by Andrew J. West).
Episode 4: Slabtown: Beth (played by Emily Kinney) has been separated from Daryl (played by Norman Reedus). Noah (played by Tyler James Williams) plans to flee and agrees to take Beth with him.
Episode 5: Self Help: Glenn (played by Steven Yuen), Maggie (played by Lauren Cohan) and Abraham (played by Michael Cudlitz) along with the rest of the group plan to travel to D.C. Something is discovered that brings a halt to the trip.
Episode 6: Consumed: Daryl and Carol chase a car in the hopes of finding who has kidnapped Beth. The plan goes awry when Carol is struck by a police car from the hospital.
Episode 7: Crossed: Rick leads a rescue mission to Atlanta. Carl (played by Chandler Riggs), Michonne (played by Danai Gurira) and Gabriel (played by Seth Gilliam) stay to secure the church.
Episode 8: Coda: Rick and the group face off against Dawn Lerner (played by Christine Woods) and her officers. The goal is to save Beth and Carol without any further death.
Episode 9: What Happened and What’s Going On: Rick, Glenn, Michonne and Tyreese take Noah to a place they believe they can find sanctuary. When they arrive it is not what the expected.
Episode 10: Them: The group is dealing with precious little supplies and the deaths of Tyreese and Beth. They decide to travel the tough road to D.C.
Episode 11: The Distance: Rick and the group are recovering from the storm. A newcomer to the group promises them safety in a walled community.
Episode 12: Remember: The group is trying to adjust to the safety of the Alexandria Safe-Zone. Deanna (played by Tovah Feldshuh), the leader of the group, finds jobs for all members of the group of survivors.
Episode 13: Forget: Deanna hosts a party for the survivors. Carol devises a plan to get the group’s weapons back.
Episode 14: Spend: Carol uncovers a secret. Eugene (played by Josh McDermitt) finds himself having to step up.
Episode 15: Try: In Alexandria, the tension between Rick and Pete (played by Corey Brill) rises. Daryl and Aaron (played by Ross Marquand) go out recruiting and finds signs of human activity.
Episode 16: Conquer: The fate of Rick is left up to the people of Alexandria. Glenn and Nicholas (played by Michael Traynor) begin a confrontation.
