If you grew up in the Seventies and Eighties then you are very familiar with the sitcom The Brady Bunch. It was ahead of its time as it dealt with a large blended family with six kids. Cashing in on the series’, which ran from 1969 until 1974, success an animated series was also created. It was less successful running only two seasons but now you can take a trip down cartoon memory lane with this complete series collection. All twenty-two episodes are here.
The voices are authentic sounding in that they are done by the original Brady Bunch cast. As far as the premise goes it very simple. The Brady Kids meet a magical bird and two panda cubs and this leads to plenty of rollicking fun and adventure. From travelling to Greece to blasting off out of this world these kids are always travelling somewhere. On the rare occasions that they stay put things do not slow down any as they are doing things like foiling bank robberies and swapping bodies.
Charming old style cartoon is the appeal of the series. Vintage cartoons will bring back plenty of fond memories for those in their forties and fifties. They don’t make them like this anymore. The hand drawn animation is colourful and warm. Good-hearted fun with the only less than enjoyable part being the talking bird.
