In all honesty Jimmy Neutron has never been one of Nickelodeon’s best animated shows, but Attack of the Twonkies is an exception that it is a lot of fun. This double-length feature is above the usual quality of the series and that is mostly due to the super cute Twonkies. Yes, it does take a while for the stars to appear (20 minutes or so) though it is worth the wait as they steal the show and keep you interested in what is happening.
For the picky people out there, yes, the plot points or story themes are repeated time and time again but you, in the end, realize why. Also the upcoming twists and turns of the story are hinted at. This can’t be too harshly criticized as it is made for kids’.
On the bright side it is one of the few kids’ shows that parents should be able to tolerate despite all its high paced sci-fi oriented craziness. Plus that Sheen is always good for a laugh. Though I think Goddard should have been in it more as he is a lot of fun.
Fast-paced it never really settles into a lull so kids can watch it over and over. Good for kids of any age.
A nice added bonus is three extra episodes including Bring in the Clones, A Beautiful Mine and The Junkman Cometh.
