Wrestlemania is the high point of the WWE calendar of events. They are looked forward to with great anticipation. The stakes are always high for the wrestlers competing here. Win and you could make a career. They all want to make an impression. It is double true with this particular Wrestlemania. The entire fate of WWE hangs in the balance (don’t you love the drama?) in that the Grand Poobah, Vince McMahon, not wanting to cede control had disowned his own son, Shane. Things went even further when Vince set up a wrestling match between Shane and The Undertaker. A win by Shane would mean he would assume control of WWE and The Undertaker would have to retire. As I said, the stakes were high. A loss would mean Vince, his daughter Stephanie and her husband/wrestler Triple H would remain in control. Who needs soap operas when you can watch this stuff?
As for the rest of the bulging roster of fights (run time is long) it is more of the same old, same old in regards to WWE. They don’t reinvent the wheel here going with what has worked in the past. It might seem a little repetitive but if you are a true WWE fan then you won’t mind.
