game of thrones season 4If you like blood, gore, sex, violence, murder and betrayal then if you have not already turn towards the phenomenon that is Game of Thrones. These particular wells are ones that the series goes back to again and again yet never seem to empty. They go big in Game of Thrones. Whichever well they go to it will not leave you unaffected. Rarely a moment in the series goes by without you feeling something. Disturbed, shocked, aroused or disgusted. In other words loads of fun is to be had in this series about the Seven Kingdoms based on the series of novels by George R.R. Martin as the pacing, sets, costumes, acting, writing and direction are all masterful.

Episode 1: Two Swords: Jaime (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) has to adjust to life in prison. Jon (played by Kit Harington) is at Castle Black to stand trial.

Episode 2: The Lion and the Rose: Anyone who is anyone turns up for the wedding of Joffrey (played by Jack Gleeson) and Margaery (played by Natalie Dormer). Stannis (played by Stephen Dillane) is at the end of his rope with Davos (played by Liam Cunningham).

Episode 3: Breaker of Chains: Tyrion (played by Peter Dinklage) wonders if any of his family members will help him out of his sticky situation. Sansa (played by Sophie Turner) manages to escape from King’s Landing.

Episode 4: Oathkeeper: Jon is accepting of any volunteer. Daenerys (played by Emilia Clarke) looks for both justice and mercy.

Episode 5: First of His Name: A new mission is begun by Jon. Daenerys plans for the future.

Episode 6: The Laws of Gods and Men: Tyrion has a confrontation with his father in the Throne Room. Stannis negotiates a deal with the Iron Bank of Braavos.

Episode 7: Mockingbird: The warnings that Jon gave about the Wall’s weaknesses are ignored. An unexpected ally presents themselves to Tyrion.

Episode 8: The Mountain and the Viper: Mole’s Town gets some unexpected visitors. Tyrion’s fate is decided.

Episode 9: The Watchers on the Wall: A challenge to the Wall tests the Night’s Watch. Sam (played by John Bradley) hides Gilly (played by Hannah Murray) and her baby in the food larder in Castle Black.

Episode 10: The Children: Bran (played by Isaac Hempstead Wright) learns of his destiny. Tyrion escapes, commits a murder and then finds Shae (played by Sibel Kekilli) in his father’s bed.
