Pop music has become a little bit of a free for all of late. Meaning that almost anything goes and some new sounds like tropical house and dancehall have begun to make their mark. All that has happened since their last album release of just over a year ago seems to have left an impression on this all girl group. Fifth Harmony, an X-Factor creation, have now returned with their sophomore album that is a mélange of all that is topical and going on in popular music. They have focused on giving music fans a ton of hooks, appealing harmonies and songs with energy. It is not exactly a demonstration of maturing rather an attempt to stick out from the rest in the huge, dense forest that is pop music.
