A female rapper? A rapper from Utah? These are not your usual combos. Mz Mali is not your typical music act in any way. The rapper is out with her first independently released full-length album which contains nineteen tracks. Mz Mali’s rap style is rather freestyle sounding and her lyrics come at you a mile a minute. She is not a lass to mince words either as everything is hard hitting. The fact that the rap world is dominated by men does not seem to faze her. She is all bold and in your face. All up tempo and energetic stuff to get you pumped up. On display is her variety and unique sound. Several of her Staxx N Waxx Muzik labelmates make appearances on the different tracks. First single off the album is a track called “I’m Butta”. If you like that one then you should enjoy “Showstoppa”, “Killin’ the Mic” and “Illest” as well.
