We begin with the Survivors settled into the Safe Zone. That is in opposition to those in Alexandria who have threats coming at them from all sides. They will have to learn how to embrace their potential for violence while Rick’s (played by Andrew Lincoln) people have to resist turning towards violence to solve their problems. Of course, it is not human nature to make a 180 degree change of behaviour easily. It will be a struggle for both groups.
Things are amped up for Rick’s group when they are faced with a fight for something worth more than life. They find themselves struggling to keep their home and another fight begins. This time it might mean they are at war from an attack from within.
You might be thinking that after five seasons that a zombie show might get stagnant. Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to The Walking Dead. The first episode hits the ground running and it does not slow after. The plot keeps moving forward and keeps the viewers engaged. No one is safe and that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Intense and unpredictable. Character development keeps on. As for acting the cast continues to turn in solid performances.
