During all seasons Montrealers like to get outside and enjoy the elements. Even during the winter months this is true. The Christmas period is no exception. For the past few years Noël Dans le Parc has filled that void. Activities happen in three parks in the Montreal area – Place Émilie-Gamlin, Parc des Compagnons de Saint-Laurent and Parc Lahaie.
Each day right up to and including Christmas Day there will be Christmas village set up where you can get marshmallows and hot wine. There will also be daily fireworks. Thursdays through Sundays will be even busier with live music happening, sleigh rides, theatre, the star, Santa Claus and plenty of other activities. Musical acts likes Loco Locasse, Royal Pickles, Hal Cole Quintet, Voyage Funktastique, and others will perform.
Another great part of the festival is that you can order online or buy in person an organically farmed Christmas tree, which they will deliver to your house. They will help you choose the one that is right for you and give you instructions on how to maintain it.
Great fun for the entire family!
