Usually December is pretty much a dead zone when it comes to concerts. Acts are generally hunkered down at home for the holidays not willing to compete with good old St. Nick. For the second year in a row musician Andy Kim is gathering a group of his buddies to put on a show chock full of music for fans of all genres.
Andy Kim was born in Montreal and enjoyed success during the 60s and 70s. He wrote the hit “Sugar Sugar” by The Archies and his own song “Rock Me Gently” was a number one hit. During the 80s and 90s he went under the stage name of Baron Longfellow or just Longfellow. Last year he released his latest album, It’s Decided.
Joining Kim onstage will be Ron Sexsmith, Roch Voisine, Bobby Bazini, Ima, Whitehorse, Tim Baker of Hey Rosetta!, and Murray Lightburn of The Dears. Proceeds from the concert go to the Starlight Children’s Foundation of Canada.
