wanted bebop and rocksteadyNickelodeon had the bright idea (not being sarcastic) to bring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back for young audiences in 2012. It has been successful in its attraction of a new audience along with keeping the older fans happy at the same time. They have succeeded in doing so primarily through strong storylines. Along with a good mix of comedy, drama and action.

The 60 minute episode here is called Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady and involves time travel. Unfortunately some of the colours (especially black) are off, but not enough that it is distracting. On the plus side there are plenty of laughs and some “in” jokes for long time fans.

The year is 1987 and Shredder (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) and Krang (voiced by Pat Fraley) manage to transport themselves to 2012. Once there they partner up with Bebop (voiced by Barry Gordon) and Rocksteady (voiced by Cam Clarke) with the aim of repowering the Technodrome. It will be up to the Turtles to stop them.
