On January 17th, the entire Food section of The New York Times will be devoted to the food scene in Canada, ranging from indigenous restaurants to immigrant cuisines. It marks the occasion of both The Times’s expanding coverage of Canada’s rich and diverse cuisine and their first live event in Montreal.
They’re inviting you to join them for the occasion, a day earlier, on January 16th at Théâtre Corona, to hear from Sam Sifton, The Times’s Food editor, and David McMillan, the restaurant owner best known for Montreal’s celebrated Joe Beef – Liverpool House. These food giants will explore topics such as French Canadian dishes and culinary innovation.
