Good Love Stories is the third single by Dutch synthpop band Sheila And The Kit and the first song they ever wrote together. It’s an infectious melodic synth-driven pop tune with their trademark ’80s flirtations that will make you sway!

Good Love Stories was mixed by Barak ‘The Dude’ Koren (Nick Cave, Typhoon a.o.) on the old mixing deck of world-famous producer Steve Albini. When the mix was nearly finished, a fire destroyed the studio. Therefore the end of the track, which was cut short, couldn’t be completed and the incomplete mix is symbolic for the situation. The mixing deck was saved from the fire by a collapsed part of the roof. It was reassembled in their new self-built studio Delphine, where Sheila And The Kit now write and produce their tracks.

Previous single Next 2 U peaked at #15 on the Spotify Viral Top 50 in The Netherlands and reached #37 on the iTunes Alternative Chart. The single had airplay on the two biggest Dutch radiostations and the single also received recognition oversees on US Radiostation KUNM. Indie Shuffle, along with other blogs, was highly enthusiastic, stating the single: “…has a bit of an RAC feel to the synth/backing. The vocals are a tad like Little Dragon.”
