Four-piece synth-rock band To The Trees have unveiled the official music video for their infectious new single “Run From Fire” via Canadian Beats. The track will appear on the band’s self-titled debut EP – out on April 6, 2018. “Run From Fire” is now available to purchase via iTunes HERE and stream on all digital platforms HERE.
Of the new song and video, lead vocalist Katelyn Bearinger had this to say, “Run From Fire’ is a song based on a toxic relationship and understanding that there are toxic people that sometimes enter our lives. I wanted to let people know that in those moments and in those relationships, it’s okay to run away for a bit. If it’s a problem that can’t be solved right in the moment, sometimes you need that relief and it’s okay to run.”
Directed by Zach Ramelan and filmed near Guelph and Kitchener, the video for “Run From Fire” focuses on a young but experienced farmer, who has lived off the land for quite some time. In keeping with the message behind the song, the central theme of the video deals with the reality of loss and finding peace in letting go.
