Narrated by Robert Redford, this beautifully shot educational documentary takes the viewer on voyage across the United States discovering the national parks. We get stunning shots of landscape, vistas, cliffs, forests and canyons. You do not have be a nature freak to appreciate what is being shown to you.

Greg MacGillivray has made films before but I don’t think any have had these types of visuals. Certainly breathtaking stuff. Ambitiously he does not rest on just giving us the sights, there is also time spent on how important this land is to citizens of the country. A reflection upon why it is important to have national parks. To protect that land.

People are shown hiking, rafting, climbing and biking through the various parks. All full of energy and boisterous, for the most part. If you are not the adventurous type then the film allows you to live vicariously through them.
