Active since 1992, Le Cinéclub de Montréal / The Film Society (CFS) launches its exciting Fall film series that runs from September to December.  CFS screens ‘reel’ 16mm and 35mm film prints of titles selected from the first 100 years of cinema history. Filmmakers highlighted this season include Kubrick, Bergman, Antonioni, Lang, Whale, Lubitsch, Merchant-Ivory, Beaudin and Burton with genres covering  1950s Film Noir to 1970s Cinéma Québécois to 1920s silent-era Sci-Fi screened with live musicians.

Surprise shorts are screened before features while coffee, tea and desserts are offered at intermission. Admission is still only $8, $6 for students and seniors. It all kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 9th and runs every 2nd Sunday to Dec. 9th in the deSève and VA-114 cinemas of Concordia University.
