The city is all a buzz about “bud”. Of course I am referring to cannabis, marijuana, Mary Jane or whatever you like to call it. Ever since the first day of legalization on October 17th, 2018, non-stop bombasts on the radio, television and online make us realize that the age of prohibition is behind us now. Provincially run local Montreal dispensaries have become practically depleted of their so called mythical “burning bush” plant supply.
Certainly, not being incarcerated for smoking a joint and being able to buy 30 grams of pot or less are benefits that will have positive effects on humanity. However, unlike other Canadian provinces, Quebecers will not be allowed to grow their own weed. Of course, this beckons the question…why aren’t Quebecers allowed to grow their own pot? We grow our own veggies and fruits, so why not pot? We can produce our own beer and wines, it just doesn’t make any sense for us not to grow our own weed!
The question on many of our minds is how legalization will affect us not only today but also into the future. Industry leading professionals from all over North America gathered yesterday and will be available today to answer many of your questions. In short, the Industrial component of cannabis is covered at the Expos. Issues/topics like investing in cannabis, becoming a licensed producer/grower, healthcare provider, and how to enter the cannabis job force are among the points of interest.
Be prepared to meet over 120 exhibitors, over 20 world-class speakers and several hands-on demonstrations are featured on two stages. This event will open your eyes to the future of cannabis, provide the oppotunity to learn, discuss and share in this flourishing industry. This Expo is unlike any other Expo I have ever attended and should not be missed by anyone interested in learning more about the commercial benefits regarding cannabis.
