souk @ sat offers an unparalleled opportunity to see the most unique and contemporary designs from Montreal. It brings a sense of curiosity and excitement to the winter-cloaked city through the curated array of local, first-rate designers participating. From November 28th to December 2nd, for its 15th edition the souk @ sat will yet again convert the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) into an exceptional market of striking creations.  

An eclectic gathering where connections are made and stories are told, the souk @ sat is incomparable. It extends an exclusive invitation to come meet and connect directly with makers and spotlights new and unique products and the creative skill behind them. This year, the souk @ sat is partnering once again with Tourisme Montreal to promote and feature the best of local creativity and design.

The souk @ sat’s cachet and impact on the Montreal creative scene will be highlighted in a video produced by In Totoin collaboration with Jesse Rivière5 Pound Media agency and Dj Frigid. A partnership with Publicité Sauvage enabled the postering of the 15 different variations of the excellently designed affiche by Caserne. 

Every year the souk @ sat selects an expert panel of jury members who are in turn commissioned with choosing the edition’s outstanding creatives and their fine products.

The jury was presided over by Azamit founder and creative director of souk @ sat. This year’s noteworthy jury is comprised of Alex Lesage (Threefold & Anniversary Magazine), Max Ruiz Laing (Bar Loïc), Muriel Françoise (journalist), Scott Meleskie (Clark Street Mercantile), and Trudy Crane (Lookslikewhite).

The SAT’s new cafe situated on the first floor and fittingly overlooking Peace Park, will offer a selection of beverages, coffee and small bites. On the third floor, original and local culinary talent will be available at the SAT’s LaboCulinaire.

Founders
In 2003, Azamit and Bruno Ricciardi-Rigault founded the souk @ sat.

Azamit is a storyteller and design experiences specialist. A Montreal style icon, brand builder and creative connector, she constantly seeks new talent and inspiration, and remains a household name in the local creator and design scene. She is the creative mind behind the souk @ sat, as well as In Toto, a visual storytelling firm.

Bruno Ricciardi-Rigault served as an advisor for the souk @ sat in its early days and has rocked the celebrated Laïka for 18 years. He was the producer and program scheduler for the Espace SAT from 2000 to 2004.
