Director: Nino D’Introna and Giacomo Ravicchio

For young people from 3 to 8 years old

November 28, 2018 to January 6, 2019

After more than 2000 performances in the world, the Pigiami show, which has twice delighted audiences at Maison Théâtre for the past 35 years, is back to the delight of a new generation of young audiences.

Due to public demand, Pigiami will be presented on two additional dates on Sunday, December 30 at 3 pm and Saturday, January 5 at 11 am.

When it’s time to go to bed, two mischievous kids in pajamas are having fun and inventing all the wacky games that their overflowing imagination suggests to them. In their bedroom, the shoes spin like racing cars, an umbrella takes off like a helicopter, the pillows are cherubs …little things become great pleasures, objects, stories not to sleep! Punctuated by the comical situations, the complicity and the contagious energy of the two actors who spare nothing to surprise us and make us laugh, Pigiami is inspired by what the children do every day with genius: play and pretend that…

THE MAGIC OF HOLIDAYS AT THE THEATRE MAISON!

In addition to the Pigiami show, the public will be able to see an exceptional photo exhibition that will appeal to both young and old: Toy Stories. Also, after each performance, the children, accompanied by their parents, will be invited to do a thematic DIY related to the show. A complete artistic experience, a festive family outing … to live in pajamas!

TOY STORIES: A UNIQUE PHOTO EXHIBITION IN MONTREAL

For two years, Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti traveled the world and visited more than 50 countries to photograph children from 3 to 6 years old in their house, their room or their neighborhood with their toys. Colorful and touching truth, the photos resulting from this project are beautiful compositions that capture the spontaneity and the naturalness of children.

With Toy Stories, the photographer invites us to a real tour of the globe without concealing the great social and economic disparities, but always preserving the angle of the game, shared by the children of all the continents, and by revealing the depth of their look.

After exhibitions in Italy, France, Great Britain, Spain, Belgium and Taiwan, 21 photos of the Toy Stories project can be admired in the foyer of the Maison Théâtre as a companion of the Pigiami show, from November 28, 2018 to January 6, 2019.
