If food is your thing then Montreal is your kind of city. The possibilities here are endless. During the holiday season it is no different. In Montreal’s historic distric of Old Montreal each holiday season there is the Old Montreal Food Tour. It is the type of thing that foodies dream of. A must for all who enjoy food combined with history.
The walking tour is three hours in length and takes the participant on culinary trip of Old Montreal. You stop at five different tasting places and also stop at historic landmarks. Four of the tasting places are sit-down restaurants with one being a brewpub where you can sample what they brew. Two of the tasting stops are of Quebecois tradition and involve Montreal’s history. In between each stop you will learn much about the city.
Begins right near a metro station, so it is centrally located. It should be of interest to visitors and residents alike.
