Youngster AJ is the driver behind Blaze the monster truck and together they try to keep Axle City a safe place. While at the same time he is a top race driver. AJ and Blaze along with with all their friends often go on adventures which involve math and science. Often they face AJ’s number one foe is tractor-trailer Crusher, who will do anything to win races.
In this collection of four episodes from the Nickelodeon television series, the action and adventure comes courtesy of a runaway train, an erupting volcano, asteroids, dinosaurs, and a giant runaway meatball.
Robots to the Rescue: A single truck cannot handle three emergencies. It calls for teamwork. Blaze (voiced by Nolan North) and his friends band together to deal with an erupting volcano, a runaway train and an overflowing glue factory.
Meatball Mayhem: By accident Crusher (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) spills some grow spice on a meatball. It grows to giant size and rolls away. Blaze and Pickle (voiced by Nat Faxon) must turn into robots to stop it before it wrecks the town.
T-Rex Trouble: In Dinosaur Valley Blaze and Zeg (voiced by James Patrick Stuart) are showing off their skills to the dinosaurs. While doing so they stumble across three young and lost tyrannosauruses. This calls for some robot power in order to help them get home safely.
Robots in Space: When she is marooned on Pluto, Space Commander Megan (voiced by Megan McArthur) needs Blaze and his friends to help rescue her. The robots must avoid ice volcanoes and asteroid fields and zip through wormholes in order to accomplish this.
