The hit single, co-produced by Renholdër, now has a beautifully unsettling visual companion reminiscent of late night 90’s MTV!

VOWWS have released their latest single “Structure Of Love II” to everyone’s screens with an unapologetically stark and surreal music video, Premiering today on Revolver.  The single features the powerful vocals of Chino Moreno (Deftones, Palms) and was co-produced and mixed by Danny Lohner, aka Renholdër (NIN, Marylin Manson).

Like a throwback to those late nights on MTV in the 90s, the visual component for “Structure Of Love II” is a rhythmic, increasingly unsettling dreamscape – random images both global and personal suggest themes of isolation, displacement, and confusion. Like replayed memories, these shards of experience stab at the watcher in quick succession; the video is intended to be a confronting companion to a track that is soothing as it is haunting.

As usual, the band has created their own visual component, directing shooting and editing the video themselves – while also including a subtle selection of society’s most unhealthy anti-heroes, destructive inventions and weird obsessions in the process.

Chino Moreno has been a fan of VOWWS for a while now, most notably handpicking the band to play the inaugural Dia De Los Deftones music festival in San Diego. Most recently, the duo performed an original live score for COMME des GARCONS’ runway show at Paris Men’s Fashion week 2019, to rave reviews from Vogue, The New York Times, i-d Vice and more. Vogue began their review of the show by quoting Rizz, comparing VOWWS’ disdain for genre descriptions with COMME des GARCONS’ founder Rei Kawakubo’s own radical, genre-defying ethos.

Vowws are currently on a North American tour in support of Cold Cave.
