Everyone’s favourite resident of the sea who lives in a pineapple, SpongeBob SquarePants, continues on his ongoing crazy underwater adventures. The humour is always a little off center, but definitely of the clean variety. This is no South Park, folks! SpongeBob has been on television for 12 seasons and shows no signs of slowing down or that his audience loves him any less.

The Complete Third Season:

A large amount of millenials grew up with this series. Many of them continue to watch it today. It is something you can grow up with as it expertly walks that tightrope of being entertaining for young kids and not annoying for adults. Tough thing to do as most animated series that are targeted at youngsters make their parents or other adults want to poke their eyes out or if the series is at night aimed at adults it is too adult for young people. SpongeBob is clever at the same time it is silly. Weird and charming. In other words, contrast that work.

Simple idea of a sponge (yes, he looks like your common kitchen sponge) who lives underwater in a community called Bikin Bottom. Dressed in tube socks, brown shorts, a red tie, and shoes that squeak when he walks. Of course, his pants are square like him. His behvaiour makes you believe he is a child and yet he lives on his own and has a job as a cook at the Krusty Krab.

When you add in a really dim best friend named Patrick, a friend who is a squirrel named Sandy, a crabby nextdoor neighbour and co-worker named Squidward, a money hungry boss named Mr. Krabs, and his pet snail Gary the result is plenty of quirkiness, laughs and more laughs.
