Danny Aridi is a Lebanese-Canadian singer-songwriter signed to Universal Music that has won a number of awards and distinctions having earned him significant notoriety in the Middle East. He has been nominated three times in the “Best Local Band” and “Best Original Act” categories by WhatsOn and TimeOut Magazine. He has also opened for plethora International artists like Katy Perry, P!NK, Calvin Harris, Guns n Roses, Fifth Harmony, Post Malone and The Backstreet Boys.
His single “Fool for You” was the most downloaded on Anghami (the first legal music streaming service and digital distributor in the Arab world), while “Solo” ranked third on Egypt and Jordan’s iTunes charts. Aridi’s moving, powerful and castling voice adds a unique tone to each song he sings. His live performances offer a trademark blend of “feel-good” music and nostalgia.
Aridi’s latest single “Wanderlust” describes the feeling of escaping one’s routine to explore the unknown. The music video was shot in India and takes us on a country-wide tour.
