The ICFF program is proud to be present in Montreal, once again! From June 14-21, film lovers can enjoy a wide selection of films at the Cinémathèque Québécoise, the Cinéma Moderne and Cinéma Guzzo Lacordaire.
Celebrate the best of Italian film and culture, and all that ICFF has to offer in the city of Montreal! The 2019 edition of the Montreal leg of the festival kicks off with a private reception on June 14th, followed by an exclusive screening of The Conformist/Il Conformista, presented by famed director Jacopo Quadri, who worked on many of Bernardo Bertolucci’s films. His latest documentary,Homage to Bertolucci/Omaggio a Bertolucci, will be screened at the Cinémathèque Québécoise on June 15th.
In addition to more than a dozen other films playing across the city throughout the June festival, the critically-acclaimed Dogman, winner of nine David di Donatello awards including Best Picture, will be screened on June 16th at Cinémathèque Québécoise. And on June 21st, the incredible true story, Three Comrades from Montreal/Tre Compagni di Montreal, the tale of three friends who immigrated to Canada after the Second World War will be presented by the creators themselves at the Cinéma Moderne.
