Nordstrom Supper Suite Day 1

Susan Sarandon arrived on the carpet wearing glasses (and Chanel shoes she said are “one or two years old”.) When asked if she wanted to take her glasses off, she had an Anna Wintour moment and said, “No, I don’t think I do.” Rainn Wilson had his hand affectionally around his wife Holiday Reinhorn, on the red carpet and she sat between him and co-star Sam Neill during dinner (pictured.)

THE REST OF US with Heather Graham, Sophie N lisse (Mean Dreams), Jodi Balfour (The Crown) and Abigail Pniowsky enjoyed the Ciroc cocktail party following their world premiere. Special guests included Canadian fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 and Greta Constantine.

Heather Graham and the cast of The Rest of Us arrived 25 minutes early, before the start of the party with Heather saying, “I’m hungry” and sitting down for dinner. Everyone was remarking how Heather, who will turn 50 next year, didn’t look a day over 30.

THE OTHER LAMB with Raffey Cassidy (Tomorrowland) and Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones) celebrated their world premiere with an intimate cocktail party.

Michiel Huisman, who was mentioned in an article recently as the possible new Marvel character Moon Knight hadn’t heard about it yet. When asked about it he said “I had no idea because I haven’t read anything about myself in two years. It would be cool.” He said he defers to his wife for all things so he’d have to ask her.

Throughout the day, Collider Studio interviewed several celebrities debuting their films at TIFF. The star-studded line-up included: Heather Graham, Sarah Paulson (The Goldfinch), Julie Delpy (My Zoe), Imogen Poots and Alex Wolff (Castle in the Ground), and Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal).
