JANE’S PARTY – I Want It Bad

Toronto
pop-rock quartet Jane’s
Party
premiere “I
Want It Bad” ft. Jay McCarrol
today via Exclaim!, an original holiday song inspired by
the Nintendo 64 meme kid, and that glorious
feeling of another Christmas conquered. With Jay McCarrol (Brave Shores,
Nirvanna the Band the Show) in the producer seat and Thomas D’Arcy (Neko Case,
July Talk, The Sheepdogs, BROS) at the engineering helm, ‘’I Want It Bad”
captures the nostalgia of running to open gifts as a kid on Christmas
morning.

The
festive tune “touches on all of the Christmas greed you felt as a kid, but then
reflects on how – as you get older – excitement and greed transform into
yearning for togetherness and that nostalgic, child-like Christmas
spirit.”

This
fall, Jane’s Party released a re-imagining of dance tune “Straight From The
Heart” featuring Skye
Wallace
’s sublime vocals, as both a lead singer and in harmony
with Jane’s Party. Stream “Straight From The Heart” featuring Skye Wallace HERE

With their
fourth-full length album Casual
Island
, Jane’s Party surpassed an incredible 5.5M streams on DSPs.
They were inspired by their experience supporting Tom Odell’s “No Bad Days”
tour across Europe in 2016, and cite Delta
Spirit
, Big
Thief
, and Lukas
Nelson
among their greatest influences. Known for their
catchy hooks, rich harmonies, and profound lyrical prowess, Indie88 declares
“you won’t be able to take this band off repeat.”
