Following the craze for the giant escape game “Journey to the Center of the Earth::The Forgotten City” that will take place during Art Souterrain Festival, Echappe-toi – Immersive Adventure is proud to announce that a second scenario will be proposed to the festival-goers, entitled “Journey to the Center of the Earth:: Chaos”. From February 29th to March 22nd – and everyday during spring break – the public is invited to compete in the world’s greatest escape game in the heart of Montreal’s legendary Underground City.

While the first part of the project is rooted in the rediscovery of a forgotten city under Montreal, this second scenario will place art at the heart of the challenge to be solved. It will be an opportunity to reflect on art in society, its place, its fundamental need: what would become of a world without art and therefore without emotion? Would it be chaos?

Thus, some of the works selected during the 12th edition of the Underground Art Festival will become enigmas to be solved, a playful and immersive way to experience the event and allow players to learn more about the history of the city, the signature of the immersive adventures of Escape. While the first scenario will take place around the World Trade Centre, Chaos will have as its playground the emblematic Palais des congrès de Montréal.  A total of 80 actors and ambassadors will greet the players and guide them on the trail of puzzles to be solved.

The two parts of the world’s biggest escape game will take place from February 29 to March 22, 2020 in Montreal’s underground network as part of the 12th edition of the Festival Art souterrain.
