The ‘aha’ moment came in December 2018 while Erica was in Las Vegas for a George Strait concert. She ran into her friend who is a professional poker player. The conversation evolved into how backgammon is having a reawakening when he mentioned his friend had recently given backgammon lessons to Ben Affleck and Toby Maguire. Anenberg was obsessed with the game in the ‘70s, picked it up again, and brought the trend back to life by designing her own innovative sets and the response has been incredible!
