“Sunflower” is the latest single from the emerging Canadian band. The song was produced by Dizzy and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Florence + The Machine), marking the first new music since the release of their 2018 Juno Award-winning debut album, Baby Teeth.
Naomi McPherson of MUNA says, “I loved doing this remix for the lovely Dizzy. Being given the opportunity to put a spin on a song I already think is great is always very challenging. I’m always just happy if the band likes it and if it makes me feel like dancing. Mission accomplished, hopefully?”
MUNA is an American electronic pop band consisting of Katy Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson. Last year saw the band release their critically acclaimed album Saves The World on RCA. The band have previously remixed tracks for Grouplove, Katie Perry and Tinashe.
