QUEBEC FILM PERSONALITIES GIVEN CARTE BLANCHE
EVERY NIGHT ON FACEBOOK

Building on the success of the first six (6) weeks of viewing, Prend Ca Court! mobilizes Quebec film artists and artisans and launches a series of screenings of short Carte Blanche films “Dans ta face!” to be held online from May 4 to July 31, 2020. Every night from Monday to Saturday from 7:15 p.m. the public is invited to visit the group Facebook Prends ca court! to discover the films selected by the guest artist of the day. In May, Jean-Marc Vallée, Stéphane Lafleur, Sophie Deraspe, Denis Villeneuve, Marilyn Castonguay, Léane Labrèche-D’or, Robin Aubert, Catherine Brunet, Julie Le Breton, Denis Côté, Myriam Verreault and Louis Bélanger will take part, among others.
In total, nearly 100 Quebec film industry people will present their favorite short films during the series, in a daily program of up to 60 minutes of continuous viewing accessible for free. The first-timers will be available from 7:15 p.m. and will then be removed from the platform. Films that have already been released online can be viewed later on the Facebook group Prends ca Court!.
