Totally for Trekkies! Fans of the sci fi series will be thrilled about this coming out. It is a nine episode compilation which gives them more stuff about the series they love.
Besides the usual elements of sci fi which were there in the shows and films, what fans loved about Star Trek were the characters and themes the shows/films explored. That is what set it apart from other series. That is what made it into a franchise which generations of fans have loved.
The exploration of these two elements brings in some of the favourite actors who have been a part of the franchise. Rebecca Romijn, Rainn Wilson, Anson Mount, and Ethan Peck are all a part of this.
Taking place in the past and also in the future, the nine shorts have been assembled for fans’ delight. They are all a little different and so it results in a something for all fans.
It all adds up to nine shorts, which are both live-action and animated, that equal about two hours of additional material. Most of the thrill is that for the most part the majority of these have not been seen before.
