Major eSports competitions take place on ES1

ES1, the first French-language channel exclusively dedicated to e-sports, is pleased to unveil the highlights of its June programming. While the current pandemic has put professional and amateur competitive sport on hold, ES1 invites the public to vibrate to the rhythm of eSports competitions.

Indeed, until they can attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Montreal which could take place in the fall, motor racing fans will appreciate the E-RACE CUP, the first competition inviting real racing drivers as well as professional players to compete on simulated car racing, Sim Racing. The sports season is being relaunched on ES1.

E-RACE CUP – From June 13 – The public is invited to follow their clashes during three shows, exclusive to ES1. Who will win the first E-Race Cup?

A new program offered to viewers, VA Y’AVOIR OF SPORT, allows the station’s hosts to meet sports personalities who discuss the intersecting of the sports and e-sports industry. Renowned French athletes such as Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Rudy Gobert and Evan Fournier are among the personalities invited to this show in June.

VA Y’AVOIR OF SPORT – Every Thursday at 5 p.m.– Sports and video game fans will be served with this weekly show that is the first to mix e-sports with traditional sport.

The best European teams of the multiplayer video game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds compete for a prize of US$100,000. Due to the pandemic, the game’s publisher will donate the same amount to charity at the end of the competition.

BLAST / PRINTEMPS FINAL – From June 19

It’s time for the grand finale of the first part of the season of this action and multi-player sports game.
