Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release a selection of leading titles from HBO’s distinguished programming catalog. Offerings include thought-provoking documentaries, a TV special, as well as drama and action-packed series. Titles will be available on Digital and/or DVD throughout August 2020, on varying release dates. Consumers now have the chance to purchase exceptional programs from the premium cable network for their own home entertainment library.

Ali & Cavett: The Tale of The Tapes – Available on Digital on August 9th The courage and charisma of boxing legend Muhammad Ali are witnessed through the unlikely bond he formed with TV host Dick Cavett. Interweaving archival footage of Ali’s many appearances with insights from authors, sports commentators and others, the film paints an illuminating portrait of a man whose impact on the civil rights movement rivals his feats in the boxing ring. 

Perry Mason – Available on Digital August 10th Starring Matthew Rhys, and based on the characters created by Erle Stanley Gardner, this new HBO drama series follows the origins of American fiction’s most legendary criminal defense lawyer, Perry Mason. When the case of the decade breaks down his door, Mason’s relentless pursuit of the truth reveals a fractured city and just maybe, a pathway to redemption for himself. 

We Are the Dream: The Kids Of The Oakland MLK Oratorical Fest – Available on Digital August 16th Every year in Oakland, CA, hundreds of pre-K through 12th grade students compete in the Martin Luther King Oratorical Festival, performing a mix of published and original poetry and speeches. Directed by Emmy® Award winner Amy Schatz and executive produced by Mahershala Ali, “We Are the Dream: The Kids of the Oakland MLK Oratorical Fest” chronicles the months leading up to the finals of the 40th annual festival, as schools across the city send their top-placing individuals and groups to compete in the event. 

Whitmer Thomas: The Golden One – Available on Digital August 20th  Comedian and actor Whitmer Thomas (“The Walking Dead”, “Sword of Trust”) features his deeply personal, provocative and unconventional standup and original songs in his first hour-long special. Taped before a sold-out, live audience in September at the legendary Flora-Bama Lounge, which straddles the state line between Florida and Alabama, Whitmer’s first one-hour special features a provocative and intimate blend of storytelling, comedy, music and documentary.

I May Destroy You – Available on Digital August 25th The series, starring Michaela Coel, is a fearless, frank, and provocative series that explores the question of sexual consent in contemporary life and how, in the new landscape of dating and relationships, we make the distinction between liberation and exploitation. 

Strike Back: The Complete Series – Available on DVD August 25th The members of a top-secret anti-terrorist organization known as Section 20 work to bring down the deadliest international terrorists in this thrilling, action-packed series. In Seasons 1-4, Sgt.
