Cinema Sous les Etoiles presented by Funambules Media with the presentation of the film Sans Frapper by Alexe Poukine in collaboration with le Festival Filministes and Réalisatrices Équitables. The documentary film will be available from Monday, August 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. to Thursday, August 20, 7 p.m. on the TV5 (website and apps for mobile and on television). An interview with the director will be available on our social networks during the broadcast of the film. A live discussion will also take place on the Cinema Sous les Etoiles Facebook page with sociologist and feminist activist Sandrine Ricci, Thursday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Sans Frappers echoes the recent wave of denunciations on social media that began in mid-July. The film allows us to deepen the issue of consent and to confront our prejudices in order to better combat the culture of rape.
Ada is nineteen. She agrees to go to dinner at the home of a boy she knows. Everything’ happens very quickly, she doesn’t defend herself. Her body is bruised, her mind is in a mess. Ada’s story mixes with those of others, all different and yet similar. The same dirty story, senseless and banal, seen from different angles. Sans Frapper addresses without fear and susinctly the delicate and intimate issue of rape.
Live discussion with Sandrine Ricci – Thursday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m.
A discussion will take place with Sandrine Ricci, sociologist and feminist activist, around the movements to denounce sexual violence and rape culture. Sandrine Ricci, author of several books, was one of the researchers of the ESSIMU project on sexual violence in Quebec universities. The event will be broadcast live on our Facebook page on Thursday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m. The service of a babysitter will be available during the discussion.
