9 programs, 25 performances, 8 countries
Inspired by the INTER_CONNECT project presented in 2017 in Montreal, the international network MUTEK has developed a new hybrid initiative, combining physical and virtual events, called MUTEK Connect.
MUTEK Connect is a unique opportunity to develop, experiment and evaluate a new model of digital interconnectivity based on the creative connections that exist between MUTEK’s headquarters in Montreal, Mexico City, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, San Francisco and Tokyo..
It is also a way of maintaining and consolidating our relations with cultural and artistic institutions around the world, such as the Transart festival in Italy, the Chapelle XIV cultural space in France, as well as the B39 arts centre and its associated festival, PRECTXE,in South Korea.
A total of 25 live performances in 8 countries will be broadcast free of charge on the Festival’s virtual platform from September 8, 2020. Discover now the forty artists who make up this first selection of MUTEK Connect and immerse yourself in the online Festival’s grid that promises an audiovisual journey that is as diverse as it is surprising.
Join the online festival with free registration and enjoy live performances, an interactive gallery, conversations from our professional market, the Forum, and more.
