About TESTPILOTIn 2013, a presence named TESTPILOT (the alias of world-renowned electronic musician Joel Zimmerman aka deadmau5) arose out of the shadows. Making a debut unlike any other, TESTPILOT stood alongside Richie Hawtin for his first performance, performing back-to-back with the techno pioneer at SXSW. Though considered a newcomer to the genre, something about his ferocious, sleek sound felt familiar and pleasing to even the most critical of techno fanatics.

TESTPILOT’s take on the genre has fused the tradition and soul of techno with a razor edge, sharpened by years of comprehensive knowledge and exploration of the music and its tools. His sets are haunting, cosmic, and move at prime velocity, ready for the darkest of warehouses.
